Terms You Need to Know 5

It can be tough to decipher the articles aimed at helping you win in casinos for USA players, so I will continue defining key poker terms in today’s article. Last time we left at the letter M.

I am going to define “Mexican Bankroll”, a bunch of $1 bills sandwiched between two $100 bills. Knowing this definition won’t improve the winrate on your Bwin Poker download, but it was such a funny term that I couldn’t resist defining it!

The next poker phrase I want to define is the “nuts”. If you are playing cash games on Tiger Gaming and you have the nuts, it is saying that you have the best possible hand. It is interesting to note that the nuts on one street might not be the nuts on the next. For instance, QQ is the nuts on a Q45 flop, but if the turn is a 6, it is no longer the nuts.

If you watched a poker video or two when you first learned the game, you probably learned that you do not want to be “outkicked” when showing down a hand. For example, when you have a pair, you usually want to have the highest kicker possible so that if someone else has the same pair, you can still win the hand. If you are dealt K6 and you hit a pair of kings, the 6 in your hand is your kicker.

The phrase I will define for the letter P is “polarized range”. If you have a polarized range at any point while playing on the Everest Poker download, it is basically saying that your hand is either incredibly strong or incredibly weak.

I recently tried a slot machine download and tried my hand at slots, but I found that they weren’t even close to as exciting as playing poker. If you have yet to give poker a try, you are definitely missing out! Go through the earlier articles on this site and then come back next month for another update.
